
If you read my last blog I popped a little wallpaper on the end that had been inspired by Scotland. I love it and am trying hard to think of a room that we could use it in (don’t tell david!).

I often look online and in store for decorating inspiration, however recently on walks, with the changing seasons I’ve been looking at the landscape around me. It made me wonder if there are Scottish designers that have done the same?

I’ve done a little research and found a few Scottish designers who have also taken inspiration from our surroundings and made it possible to have a taste of Scotland inside as well as out!
Mairi Helena has a studio in Edinburgh were she designs more than just wallpapers, with coordinating fabrics a sophisticated look is already achieved for you! Love her pieces.

Timorous Beasties have been in the heart of the west end for as long as I can remember. You can tell if a wall has a timorous paper covering it! On looking at the new Cameron House hotel I could tell straight away that they have some really special timorous beasties covering their walls!
