Making time for a spa-throom

How do you relax?

Last week David and I visited Float, Fire and Ice to redeem the voucher I got him for his birthday in May. We really enjoyed it! Floating into the abyss in the tank, testing our endurance in the ice bath and then relaxing in the infrared sauna. We highly recommend!

With time and money constraints we rarely do the spa thing these days. However I know I’m privileged to have David on hand to make my bathroom and en suite relaxing spaces to be in. We favour tile in these rooms. David has recently undertaken the upkeep of our wet rooms, re siliconing the tiles and joins to make sure everything is water tight, and scraping back, stain blocking, sealing and painting our troublesome en-suite ceiling.

With 4 people showering every day our extractor is in over drive and we decided that our next room to re decorate will be the bathroom. We have wet wall in there at the moment, but want to have it tiled too.
Looking into bathroom trends I’ve found lots of different textures and designs to keep our bathrooms bright and interesting.

Did you know that as long as you have the right ventilation and extraction fans, wallpaper will last the pace in bathrooms! With wallpaper you can create a dramatic and relaxing space to spend some quality time. The bathroom is often the only room in the house with a lock, and we all need a little bit of privacy now and again!
