We were in London for a break last week. Although as I’ve said before, when you own your own business you never really switch off…..

Farrow and Ball
Amongst all of the tourist attractions the boys had to experience, we had time to wander through the streets of London, looks at the pretty shops (and cars).

In Knightsbridge, David commented that it looked like the shop owners had gotten together and picked a colour each from the farrow and ball pallet. Every shop front was different, but beautiful and complemented the next. Whether it was planned or not the effect worked perfectly!

Period Rules
Not everyone realises that when you buy/ rent a period property, there certain parameters you have to stay within. Homes often have to stay in keeping with the exterior of the area or building. Meaning only certain materials and colours can be used. As a company that specialise in period properties we love this work!

We spent our time walking through a residential area talking about the finishes on their front doors. All black, but the doors with a spray finish certainly stood out!

Don’t worry too much though, as well as colours and finishes I looked at lots of shoes and bags too 🥰
Call that a break?
I’m sure you’re feeling really sorry for our boys reading that we were being super boring discussing paint pallets and finishes during our time away. You needn’t worry, they got to do everything they wanted. Also let’s face it, they’re boys- they wouldn’t have been listening anyway 😜

If your looking for a company that carries their passion for painting everywhere, give us a call!
