Do you like a theme?

When decorating most people like a theme. Whether it’s contemporary minimalism, country house or bohemian, everyone ends up with a theme.

Wallpaper.

Wallpaper is the easiest way to convey a theme. Whatever you are looking for in a paper is out there (apart from theatre balcony wallpaper, specifically the one from OMITB, my son wants this and I can’t find it anywhere🤯. If anyone does find it, please let me know!!)

Animals.

I was going to look through what’s new in wallpaper, but the first one that stood out to me sent me in a different direction. So I’m going to concentrate on animals. They make for amazing wall papers to look at.

Deer & Bunny’s.

This paper is from Wallism and is called Lord Bunny and Mr. Deer. It’s subtle, you have to really look at the pattern to see the whimsy in the characters. Although this is doubtless perfect for a childrens room, I think it wouldn’t look out of place in a hallway or cloakroom.

Koi Carp.

Another new concept for me….fish on a wallpaper, and it’s beautiful! Koi tropical fish wallpaper WL2402 from world of wallpaper really is beautiful. With so much to look at, but not to much to be overwhelming, this paper would look great in a bathroom or dining room.

Flamingo.

One of my favourite birds! Why be a swan when you can be a flamingo!! This paper from Graham & Brown called Midnight Tropic wallpaper is perfect as shown in a bathroom or WC. Although I think it could also be amazing in a dressing room.

Butterfly’s and zebra?!

Not something I’d think of pairing together, but when I saw Boho Butterfly Zebra on Spoonflower, nothing looked out of place. A diverse paper that would go well in most rooms as a feature. A perfect way to show your personality.

Birds.

A classic for wallpaper, birds never age, peaceful and beautiful. Paradise Garden by Arthouse from wallpaper uk is a glamorous but subtle paper perfect for a living room, or bedroom.

Leopard Print.

Whether its a subtle touch or an in your face statement, you can never go wrong with a leopard print on anything as far as I’m concerned! Nelly Leopard Print wallpaper by munks and me make the pattern really contemporary by changing up the colours. A bedroom would stand out with this paper on its walls.

Farm yard gang.

If you are looking for something different, look not further. I love this paper by photowall. The Animal Portraits wall would look amazing in a dining room, or at the end of a hallway.

The one that made me concentrate on animals.

When I first saw this paper I wasn’t sure what to think…..so unusual, and quite loud, but in a subtle way. The patterns within patterns are a lot. But actually, I love it! It would be perfect in a larger utility or feature on a kitchen wall. But this patchwork dogs wallpaper from Spoonflower is so unusual, you could probably put it anywhere and get the same a ‘Wow’ factor.

Luckily for you David and team specialise in paper hanging. So if anything catches your eye give us a phone and we can help you create your ‘Wow’ factor.
