When decorating your space, it’s normal to look for inspiration, what’s on trend. No one thinks twice about having similar decor taste. If you look around you’ll see that right now the main colour still seems to be grey, kitchens are getting bolder and statement features are not unusual.

The same can be said for decorating materials, the big colours and trends are announced from the bigger companies and you’ll bet there’s a version of the same brought out by another. This is normal and healthy, and there’s definitely a space for everyone in doing this!
Farrow & Ball.
Farrow and Ball have absolutely got the market when it comes to their colours, they seem to have set the trend for the past few years, and it’s easier to find them now that they have expanded from their own shops, you can find Farrow and Ball in B&Q now too.

No doubt these bigger names have great reputations and qualities, but they may not be in the right price bracket for everyone. This is where your trade manufacturers have really gotten it right! They have come up with their own system to colour match almost any colour, but with a less costly paint.
As long as you still use a good paint you can have exactly the same outcome but save some money at the same time!
Tried and tested.
We colour match paint all the time, and you really wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. It’s a money saving exercise in that you’ll either save on the initial outcome, or save in the long run when you can colour match a durable paint to the colour you want. Don’t get me wrong, F&B is advertised as wipeable, but not scrubbable 😉
Trade secrets.
We use both designer labelled paints and trade, we’ll use whatever you want us to (to an extent!) because with the right application and advice, no one would ever know the difference!
