Something Wicked This Way Comes….

Halloween is upon us,
I don’t know about you, but with the horror of this year so far it comes as some light relief!

Local guidelines.

In our area we aren’t allowed to go trick or treating, something our full family enjoy, but rules are rules! It hasn’t stopped us doing some exterior decorating mind you. This is the only decorating David doesn’t do. I love creating a haunted house and love seeing people looking in when they pass. The dog barking adds to the effect!

Dramatic colours.

Halloween brings with it hues of green, orange, purple and black, colours not for the feint hearted, but colours that when used in the right place with the right tone, can add a year round look rather than something fit for one night.

Traditions.

This years rules won’t take away the delight our kids have in pumpkin carving, stretching the imagination we’ve had a vast array over the years, and this years won’t be any different. I hear that covid and masks will be in amongst them! In the mean time, here’s some from years gone by.
