It’s difficult to find inspiration at the moment, so I thought I’d make it easier by collating a list (also I love a list)

Snug spaces.

The snow may have melted, and the sun has even made an appearance this week, but we still want to feel safe and snug at home. Here are some easy ways to to create this.

For me snug means darker and cosy, soft shapes and calm surroundings.

If you’re decorating a smaller area to make it snug don’t over decorate. Plain walls in deep colours will be most effective.

As well as this, layering seating with blankets and cushions creates a cosy atmosphere. Even bringing in bean bags for the kids will make a relaxed and comfortable area for everyone to snuggle in.
